808ink, a UK duo made up of rapper Mumblez Black Ink and producer 808Charmer, have been creating music in a south London garage since 2013.

At the time, 808Charmer was drumming on tour for the likes of M.I.A and Tinie Tempah, before linking up with Mumblez to begin creating what they describe as ‘dreality’ – a musical mythology somewhere between dreams and reality. Three years later, in November 2016, they released their Hungry LP and continued to build a reputation thanks to their energetic live performances. The group is set to progress further into the limelight this year, with the release of their EP, When I’m About, You’ll Know, on March 2, and their largest London headline show to date at Omeara on March 16.
